Réussir, Le Figaro & l’Express magazines have published on March 23rd the results of the “Great Place to Work” survey carried out late last year. Lyreco, for the 6th year in a row ranks among the 30 best companies to work for in France!
These outstanding results were made possible by the efforts of each and everyone Lyreco employees, by the Professionalism we show towards our customers, by the Respect we show them and our fellow colleagues in keeping our promises, and also by the Excellence that encourages us to be better everyday, and the Passion that drives us.
We are all the more happy about this independent recognition that it comes exclusively from the confirmation that Lyreco employees have expressed for the 6th consecutive year how well they feel in this company. This is clearly the best sign of attachment and recognition they could show our company!
Even better this year, Lyreco was awarded the "Etoile du palmarès" prize given to companies nominated for at least 5 years. This is a sign of recognition over time of the atmosphere of our company, thus demonstrating the credibility of the presence of Lyreco in this ranking.

OUR NEW CHARITY PROGRAMME |

In 2008, in partnership with UNICEF, Lyreco supported the Early Learning For Development programme in Bangladesh, enabling more than 10,242 children to join school at the age of 3. More than 100 teachers have also been trained and 50 early learning centres supported.
In 2009, Lyreco pursues its effort toward education of children around the world.
This year, a new charity programme "Lyreco For Education" is going to help fulfil initiatives involving the education of children in Vietnam.

IMPEGA TO LYRECO! |

Lyreco, ranked amongst the first worldwide distributor of office supplies, has announced the change of name for its range of private label products from Impega to Lyreco.
Impega is one of the most powerful European office products brand. Having first been launched in the French market over 40 years ago, it is now a market leader in many European markets. The clear goal of the change is to simply reinforce the strength of the Lyreco brand by extending the loyalty on products to the company.
The Lyreco range will maintain the already market-leading quality/price levels. In that way, Impega Premium, Impega and Impega budget will become Lyreco Premium, Lyreco and Lyreco Budget. The recently launched external product quality testing programme will continue to be extended across this full range.
The complete changeover from Impega to Lyreco will be finalised in the 2010 catalogue, leaving 18 months to manage the progressive switch.
Lyreco’s product proposition remains unchanged meaning Lyreco will continue to encourage and develop the sale of leading manufacturer brands.

ALLIANCE WITH OFFICEMAX |

OfficeMax (NYSE:OMX) and Lyreco announce today they entered into an alliance to better serve their customers throughout the world. The partnership brings together the expertise and footprint of two leaders in business-to-business office supply solutions. Utilizing the combined contract operations and infrastructure of Lyreco and OfficeMax around the world, the partnership is expected to provide improved selling opportunities for both companies. Lyreco and OfficeMax will be able to provide exceptional office supplies service to their multinational customers in a broader geographical coverage now reaching 36 countries.
